Grooving & Cut-Off Systems is the only system that provides two cutting edges in one insert in extremely narrow widths. This system also features a full range of toolholders with minimum hardware only one positive locking insert screw and the unique insert pocket design assures a repeatable cutting edge location. Standard inserts are stocked in widths from .019 to .078 in uncoated and coated carbide grades. The Mini-System is a unique method of producing narrow grooves and providing an economical means of cut-off all in a wide variety of materials. Carbide Grade ApplicationC2 Uncoated grade recommended for cast iron and non-ferrous materials. C5-PV Coated grade recommended for machining steels, cutting solid bars to the center and for interrupted cuts. C6-PV Coated grade recommended for machining steels, cutting off and grooving at higher speeds.
